Let Me Walk With My Brother...
Well folks, August is nearly over. The unofficial end of summer in the USA is Labor Day, September 6th this year.

Now anyone familiar with the equinoxes, or astrology should know that summer doesn't actually end until September 23(give or take... depending on your time zone). Because I can never make it to Chichen Itza or Stonehenge, I try to balance an egg on it's end if I'm somewhere convenient, and awake at the appointed hour.

Starting this year, I, and The Nut House, will start the Autumnal Equinox celebrations early with the International Day Of Peace on September 21. We will be celebrating other IDH during September, but I wanted to give you all a heads-up for this special, annual event.

It's another early night for me, but I'll try to link up with the Tripod RNC reporter. Last I read, he hadn't been cleared, but that's been a while ago.

And I'm trying to get my Sis in NYC to Guest Host one night this week, but she's got company. I'd never have know the US Open started this week if she hadn't told me she was trying to get tickets. Looks like Queens is the place to be this week.

There is, or at least used to be, a replica of Stonehenge above the Columbia River Gorge on the Washington side. Found it during a rambling weekend and was taken by surprise. If not for the photos I would yet wonder if it was really there or just a byproduct of the time. Perhaps if you are close you could celebrate at the alternate Stonehenge?

I might have to make do with Legos on my kitchen table.

I am so excited to see the fallout caused by the RNC...I mean seriously...the best we have to offer from our war on terrorism, is the Traffic light of terror....please...

Even "war on terror" is a nonstarter...how can you go to war against a "style" of fighting...

It was the man's way of avoiding any use of the word "islam" in his fight for peace...or oil or whatever...

Heaven forbid if it got out that we really WERE fighting a war against radical islam...nobody else will read it that way...all they will see is islam...

So we play little word games...that's the best the man can come up with...probably wasn't even HIS idea...it was prolly daddy's...
